COVID-19 TREASURER COLLECTOR DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS
As of March 24, 2020, Governor Baker has extended the deadline for the fourth quarter real estate and personal property tax. Those fourth quarter bills will now be due by June 1st.
We have not received direction for a motor vehicle excise extension so as of now they are still due by the date indicated on your bill.
Please be advised that the Office of the Treasurer Collector will NOT be staffed on a daily basis – hours will be worked as needed.
Tax payments can still be paid via mail, online or the drop-box located on the outside wall at the main entrance to the Town Hall.
The drop-box will be emptied on a daily basis.

Health insurance payments can be made via mail, online or the drop-box located on the outside wall at the main entrance to the Town Hall.
All Municipal Lien Certificates (MLC’s) will be processed on a weekly basis.

Fiscal Year 2020 Real Estate and Personal Property tax rate is $14.91 per thousand dollars of valuation.

The Treasurer/Collector's Office is responsible for the collection of all town taxes and fees, the investment of funds and the administration of town debt. Our office handles all of the borrowing for the town and is the custodian of all trust funds. We are also responsible for payroll and benefit administration and all Tax Title management.
We will accept payment for:
- Motor Vehicle Excise Tax
- Real Estate Tax
- Personal Property Tax
