Who can get a library card?

Library cards can be issued to Leicester residents and non-residents who present a valid ID with a current address.  If your ID does not show your current address, a piece of mail or utility bill is acceptable for proof of address.  Children under 16 must have a parent or guardian's signature to receive a physical library card.

An eCard is a CW MARS library card that you can register for online to access electronic materials, such as ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and databases. The eCard is for patrons who do not already have a CW MARS library card and may be upgraded to a physical library card with borrowing privileges by visiting your local library and providing proof of address. Applicants ages 13+ can apply for an ecard here:  https://leicester.cwmars.org/eg/opac/ecard/form

All Massachusetts residents 13 and older are eligible for a Boston Public Library eCard. This card can be used to borrow electronic materials.  Apply here. A complete list of available items can be found here.
