Open Space & Recreation Plan Update 2021

Open Space and Recreation Plan Implementation Committee is seeking members to start work in 2024 to implement the Open Space Plan! Click here for more information!

The Town of Leicester, with assistance from the Central Mass Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC), is working on an update to the 2015 Open Space & Recreation Plan (OSRP). CMRPC and Leicester's OSRP Committee are looking for your feedback on the draft plan.

The 2021 draft plan captures the current state of Leicester’s local context, environment, and open spaces and recreational areas. It concludes with a set of strategies to improve existing parks, prevent future environmental degradation, and engage more residents in volunteer work to support the town’s open space and recreation vision.
