Coronavirus impact at the Library

Sir Robin with mask

April 3:

ALL TOWN BUILDINGS ARE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC through at least May 4, 2020. All programs are cancelled through this date.

You may reach the staff via email during regular library hours.  [email protected] or click the 'send us an email' link on our homepage.

Items can be returned in the book drop, or you can keep them for now. CWMARS has extended all due dates to 5/1 (this may be extended). Library fines will be waived when items are returned.

Thank you for your patience as we take precautions to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Library items are always available for download, including ebooks, audio books, videos, magazines and (new!) excerise videos.  See below for options.

Overdrive
Ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, magazines and a few videos. Download the Overdrive app or the Libby app from your app store. Use your library card number and PIN to log in. The login is the same as the CWMARS library catalog. Initial PIN numbers were the last 4 digits of the phone number you had when you signed up for a library card. Call the library (508-892-7020) or send us an email at [email protected] if you don’t know your numbers. www.overdrive.com  3/23/2020 update:  If you do not currently have a CWMARS library card, you can register for an ecard at cwmars.overdrive.com . You can convert this to a regular card by bringing an ID and proof of your current address to any CWMARS library when we are open again.

March 13:

Library Programs are currently canceled through 3/31/20

This includes the Celtic Chocolate program 3/19, Book Club 3/25, and the Book Signing 3/26, and Saturday Lego programs.

Previously scheduled meetings – check with convener.

These will be decided on an individual basis.

Out of an abundance of caution, non-circulating items (toys, games, etc.) have been removed from the Children’s and YA areas. We do not have the ability to clean these items to recommended standards at this time.

If you are sick, please do not come into the library. Books can be ordered online or over the phone (508-892-7020). Staff can bring them out to your car.

If you are sick and currently have library books, please keep them until you are well. Call the library and we can extend your due dates. The Library will be fine-free for the time being.
