Can I print documents?

Yes. Printing from a computer in the Adult or Children's area sends the job to a local color printer.  The cost is 25 cents per page. 

Mobile printing is now available! Print documents and images directly from your smartphone, laptop or computer, even from home!

With our MobilePrint Service™, you can use your personal computer or mobile device to print to the library’s printers from anywhere. Simply submit documents for printing and come to the library to print and pick up them up.

• File size must be 50MB or smaller.
• Black and white and color prints are $.25 per page
• Print jobs will stay in our system until the close of business that day. If not printed by then they will automatically delete.

1. Print from a laptop or desktop computer if you are not at the library:

• Visit https://www.printeron.net/lc/leicester
• Select the printer and enter your email address.
• Browse your computer to find and select the file you wish to print, or enter a URL for a web page you want printed.
• Click the green print icon (you will see the status of your print job and a reference number).
• Come to the Leicester Public Library and use the print release station to print your pages. The copier takes coins and small bills only.

2. Print from tablet or smartphone app:

• Visit your device’s ‘store’ for apps. Install and launch the PrinterOn app.
• Click “No printer selected.”
• Click “Search.” Search for Leicester Public Library.
• Find Leicester Public Library and tap either the black and white or color printer and save.

To print:

• Documents: when viewing the document, tap in the upper right corner and upload the document to the PrinterOn app.
• Photos from your phone: open the app, tap on “photo” and select a photo to print.
• Select the printer and click the print icon.
• Enter an email address and tap on the check mark (you will receive a notice that the job started, and shortly after another message stating “Job Success”).
• Come to the Library and use the print release station to print your pages. The copier takes coins and small bills only.

3. Use email to send something directly to library print system (print an email message or an attachment):

• Forward your email from any device directly to the library’s print system at
  leicester@printspots.com
