Please join us to meet local author Sharon Yang, who will discuss her mystery novels, the writing process, and share advice on becoming a published author.

Sharon Healy Yang's passion for the sharp wit, humor, romance, adventure, and dark suspense of 1940s film and written mysteries inspired her Jessica Minton Mystery series:  Bait and Switch (2015, NIEA Finalist) and Letter from a Dead Man (2017).   Her novels feature a sharp, witty, imaginative female lead who’s ripe for a little romance, even if it’s mixed with espionage, deception, or murder. Just out in August, 2021 is the third entry, Always Play the Dark Horse, which brings in another of her passions:  thoroughbred racing. Sharon lives in Massachusetts with her husband, two cats, and an enormous collection of vintage films. She is a member of Sisters in Crime, as well as a Sisters in Crime, New England Member at Large for Massachusetts.
