We take the "Driver's
Privacy Protection" act seriously. (Posted on website) In fact, we do not
provide any verbal information concerning Motor Vehicle over the phone,
and only w/proper identification, do we provide info in the office.
Through the Unipay site, a taxpayer enters the tax bill number, and only
the name is shown, not an address or other personal information.
Also, online taxpayers
are not able to "search" the database using names. The only information
displayed upon entering the bill number is the name and amount.
