The Planning Board is
seeking residents to serve on the Master Plan Committee to work on an
update to the Master Plan, last updated in 2000. Meetings will be on
the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM. If interested, please

The Planning Board members
and staff are committed to serving the needs of the public. To
accommodate those who cannot come during regular office hours, most
Planning Board information is available by phone, mail, fax, or email.
You may also stop by during our Planning Board meetings (held in the
evening) to pick up information if you call ahead.

All meetings begin at 7:00 PM and are open to the public.

Our agenda closes the Wednesday
prior to each meeting. ANR plans must also be received in the Planning
Office by the Wednesday deadline
Areas
of Responsibility:
The Planning Board reviews
applications for approvals under the Zoning Bylaw and Subdivision
Regulations. This includes Site Plan Review and/or Special Permits
for commercial developments, Subdivision Approvals, and endorsement of ANR
Plans (plans depicting new lot lines on existing streets). The
Planning Board is also responsible for long-range land use planning for
Town of Leicester, including implementation of the Leicester Master Plan.
